Default ? 2015 FLTRXS sECONDARY CLUTCH ACTUATOR (Slave Cyl)

Does anyone out there know if a 2017 touring Slave Cylinder P/N 37200131 will interchange with the P/N ( 37200023 ) in my 2015 Road Glide Special? Thanks

Can't answer your question but would like to thank you for the updated terminology, since we can't use "master" and "slave" any more. Primary and secondary seem to be reasonable substitutes. When will the insanity end?

No, it will bolt up to the trans, but there are differences between the two part numbers....

The differences are:

The M8 has a different size hydraulic line fitting than the Twin Cam. The hydraulic lines have different fittings/threads and are not interchangeable between the two models.

The M8 model has a "clutch sleeve" between the slave and the trans, that the Twin Cam doesn't have.

The M8 master has a different flow than the Twin Cam master, the slave units will operate differently if switched between their respective master cylinders...

What are you trying to accomplish with the swap...??

There are after market slaves, for Twin Cam and M8 bikes, that make some positive changes to the OEM lever pull/release points...

I use the Muller Hydro Clutch on my 2016 Ultra Classic (part #120-50) and love it. They also make one for the M8 bikes, part #120-60.





Aim and Rekluse also make clutch slaves for both bikes...
