I have been reading up on the cam info that’s out there for the 96” and do believe that the andrews 48h would be the cam I would choose for the way this bike is to be used. I also understand your point about spending a little bit more up front for a more flexible tuning devise for later on down the road. My 02 road king classic had a doebeck pot style tuner on it when I bought it and I was able to “tune” it to the s&s 509 cams that I put in that motor. I was very happy with how those cams worked for the 88” motor, and think that the 48h would have a similar effect in this motor. The cam change will still be a next winter project due to budget, but I think I will budget in the PV for this winters additions.

Very nice ride! It sounds like you already know how to spruce her up.

Congrats... I have an almost brand new Clearview windshield that I only used for a few days. It's lower than stock (8 inches) but it wasn't low enough for my needs. Not sure how tall you are (I'm 5'10) but it's yours if you want it for the shipping costs. I found the 6.5" to be perfect for my height.

Thanks for the offer on the shield, I had a clear view on my old Kimg and really liked it! For now however I’m gonna pass, I’m 6’1” and long in the torso, I’m gonna hold off on a shield until I decide whether or not I am going to replace the seat. I actually have no problem with the stock height shield with the stock seat, but aftermarket seats tend to move you around a bit. I do appreciate the offer though.

Nice bike!!!! I've got adjustable deflectors on mine, I really like them. Not sure what they are though, on the bike when I got it. This pic has them closed, where I have them when it's under 80.
