Going to check mine tomorrow to see if it already has the vent. So, did Harley Davidson start putting the vent
in sometime during the 2019 model year or was it done at the dealerships? Was there ever a recall or just a
service bulletin issued?

I read that Harley Davidson started putting the vent on in May 2019. Hopefully we will have the
vent already installed being that the EGS was a mid-year release.

May 22, 2019 is allegedly when the vents started coming standard on the 19’s and then the 20’s have them.

Rubber tube in back/atop the primary to vent it in order to prevent all the tranny fluid getting sucked into the primary. If you don’t have it, and do get it, make sure to remove the oil deflector. They left mine in and it still transferred so I made them remove it per the bulletin.
