60,000+ miles on my M8's. Most of it has been a blast and I wouldn't want to go back to a 103.

As fun as the M8's have been I wouldn't go in debt for one!

Good luck whatever you decide...

I went from a 2015 FLHTK to a 2020. Worth it. Worth the wait too, no issues with the primary, oil pump, etc.etc... (knock on wood) A great bike!

OP went from drooling over a new M8 to getting a financial literacy lesson.

That's the beauty of social media - you can learn from other people's wisdom / experiences.

You only go around once in this life. Enjoy it while you can, you may get hit by a bus tomorrow.

True to a degree - but it also pays off (in the long term) to be prudent....

Recently I have been considering a M8, but after 8 years with my Road King I sent it to Fuel Moto for a nice 107 upgrade, so performance wise it's at least on par with the new bikes.

That being said, I'm now considering a M8 Road Glide as a second bike, I have room for 1 more, and I'd like something very different compared to my hot rod red RK.

Bewdy! Thanks - I hate making mistakes with thread titles because there's no easy way to fix them yourself...
