I did the upgrade from the 6.5 to the GTS with my 2017 SGS. Don't ask what I've had to pay for in Germany - you would have me admitted to the clinic...
But I'm using this bike often for fast long distance rides on our heavy traffic autobahn - so Android Auto is very valuable for me to avoid jams and so on. For me, it is worth every penny! It works like a charm, it's fast and the display is even better than the 6.5. The look and feel is also better then before - like everything at this device. At the weekend s, I'm using the build in navigation and listening to Spotify - also this works great. I would buy it again.
I have the GTS on my 2017 FLHTK. I love it. In my opinion with Apple CarPlay it was worth every penny. Everytime it turns on I'm amazed how crystal clear and nice it is. I don't have the WHIM for bluetooth to the bike and I still love it.
As far as the TPMS, I thought you could add it per post #65 in this thread below? I planned to do the TPMS sensors on the next tire change and have it unlocked on the GTS.... You in theory could add the CVO gauges or a 2019 and later set to show the TPMS warning light too.
