Slip on fish tail pipes

I have an ‘02 road king with a SE 1550. I had Rinehart mufflers and have recently removed them to put on 36” fish tail slip ons (after market). Problem is my header pipes are 2” o.d., and so is the new slip ons are 2” o.d. as well. I can’t butt them together and band clamp them it will throw off the distance to the exhaust hangers by several inches. The manufacturer of the new fish tails says stock road king header pipes have an inlet size of 1-3/4”. I can’t find any other 36” fish tail slip ons that will slip on like the Rineharts I took off. Any suggestions?

Take that head pipe off

See if Rinehart has a set of fish tails

Take your fish tails to an exhaust shop and see if they can expand it.

Research more before mix matching parts
