I just found a good deal for a full 2 into 1 thunderheader an I think i will go for it.
now the options:
- thunderheader with stock intake with no remap
- thunderheader + open intake ( big sucker , etc) + no remap
- thunderheader + open intake + remap/ external tuner
As I do not need to do wheelies or extra performance but only the sound, what's the best option for me?
is it safe to put the exhaust without external tuner or ECU remap?
If money is no issue then #3. Properly tuned will give you a smooth, cool running engine with more power than stock.
If money is an issue then #1. Not ideal but should work with no issues.
Definitely not #2. #2 will be very lean, run hot, poor power, poor mpg (or is it km/g?).
