2012 FLHX changed the final drive from 32t teeth to 30t. Does anyone know the correct numbers to plug into the power vision tuner to get my Speedo to read accurate. The speedo is 5 mph high at 60 MPH
Speedometer: A and GPS: B. Divide B/A=C Then multiply C x VSS (what the VSS is currently) and that will give you the new VSS number to input.
70/67=1.04 VSS=2078 1.04 x 2078 = 2171
1.) Divide the speed shown on your speedo, by your actual speed (75/70, in my case = 1.07) 2.) Plug your PV into the port on your bike 3.) Turn your ignition to run, but don't start it 4.) Select the Quick Tune button, and go to "CONFIGURE" 5.) Under configure, you'll see a box marked "VSS" with a 4 digit number in it. You're going to want to multiply that number, by the number that you've calculated (my case it was 2153 x 1.07) 6.) With your results, you're going to now change that VSS number to the new number that is your multiplication result. 7.) follow the instructions on your Power Visions from there.
