Ok next question, what are they REALLY called. Tried looking them up on HD website, and nothing in windshields and deflectors, did search for fork deflectors, nothing. Also looked up fork fangs, for kicks and grins, same result.
I also have the Kurakyn deflector that mounts on the bottom of the triple tree you can see in the pic above. It looks like a 1/3 of a chrome pie plate. Gets rave reviews on their site, but I installed it first and saw little preceivable difference. The HD deflectors (fangs) however made a very big difference.
Thanks. Well that question is answered. Does not fit with lower fairings. I take mine off in summer, but that leaves a few months of getting beat up. Its not as bad as it was, so I guess I live with it.
They'll fit fine with lowers. You'll need to cut them to fit around your signals. Few dozen previous threads will explain how!
I'd give you a set cheap if you were local. Too hot to use with lowers down here.
..... Deflectors spoken for. Will be picked up next week .....
I put on this companies fangs about 6 years ago......wont take them off........I dont even see them anymore and never any buffeting or handling problems.....AND they fit my year with the lowers ON. https://www.jescustomaccents.com/201...ectors_c48.htm

Based on what? The HD website says does not fit my bike. I assume they will contact the lowers in a lock to lock turn. Oops, I needed to read your full post. OK will have a look at their work around.
