Lyndall Rotors and Pads ?? Real life experiences?
I ride the same as you it sounds....commuting, long trips, track days, a little bit of everything...I've had really good luck with EBC rotors and pads. I've also heard great things about Galfer rotors and am planning on trying them next on my road glide.
a product and others think the same product is the greatest??
I haven't tried Lyndall rotors but I use Lyndall Z+ pads only.
I tried the Gold pads once and didn't like them. They stuttered
on hard stops and made noise.
When someone asks for a recommendation on brake pads, I'll
always say Lyndall Z pads.
Virtually no dust and excellent braking, always.
I didn't get any mileage from the stock pads on my '16 SG nor
the '18 UC. (12 to 14,000 miles on each bike for front pad setup.
The Lyndall look hardly used after 10,000+ on the UC..................
YMMV
I am little wary of pads that have a long life. Eventually something has to wear, either the pads or the rotors.
FWIW, Fuel Moto is running MJK Performance parts on their 200+ HP M8 Road King. They have a radial mount set up too that works with standard fork legs.
I would love to switch to a radial mount set up like that one, along with the inverted front suspension. But...$$$$!
I would personally go with Galfer over Lyndall, based on what I've read from user reviews. I've used Lyndall pads before, and didn't feel they were great enough to keep with them once it was time to replace them. Seeing that Lyndall rotor cracked that badly is enough to cement my opinion too.

The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
I have not bought brake pads in quite a while as I have more than my fair share of bikes. THe one that needs pads now is not running currently. Assuming I can find LRB Z Plus at a decent price (less than $50 a set) I'll continue to run them. I think I probably get at least 20K out of a set of their front pads. I'm not much of a rear brake guy. In over 100k miles I changed the rear on my older Road Glide once. I'm not az cheerleader however I'm not a naysayer either. I use what works well for me. Although, it rains a lot where I live now so I will have to take taht into consideration as I did find Lyndalls to be dismal in the rain. There. That's the bad.
As far as their rotors, I would not spend that kind of scratch for rotors again. I had no issues but I'd rather spend taht money on something else. If I had a rotor issue I'd get some of the Galfer's which are fully floating and have the cool wave design that all these other guys have now copied as best they can. Reason for this choice? I;ve never run the Galfers and they are well respected on the AMA circuit. Those bikes go a hell of a lot faster than I ever will, although our bikes weigh almost three times what those weigh.
So, make your decision on what is right for you, finance wise and ride wise. The only way to know for sure about a specific product is to spend the dough and try it. I enjoy trying out expensive things. Some have lived up to their marketing, others have not Live and learn.
