I made a mistake this morning when mama saw a pic of the late model tour pack backrest . She remarked how much more comfortable it looked than our bike . So now Im wondering will a late model backrest fit my 12 ? I just found out recently that late model bags will fit with adjustments so Im hoping the backrest will too .

When my wife said the Sportster wasn't comfortable I took that as "Go buy me a comfortable touring bike and I will ride with you more often" and I did.

I'd look up the backrest she is referring to on h-d.com and see if it fits your current bike before you go out and buy a new bike. I fought mine for years before she finally said she's not riding anymore. Just my 2 cents worth. 2012 is pretty late model actually for seats and backrest.
My wife loved the one on our 2011 CVO Roadglide but said the one on our 19 Special sucks. I have been looking at the newer CVO ones cause they do seem to have more padding.
Y'all can believe me she's not hinting for a new bike .
She paid for the current bike . Doubt that will happen twice .
I've been retired 4 years this month & I'm trying to get
her to retire as soon as she gets old enough . We're not going
back in debt .
