03 RK fuel injection
Try to start my bike and get crank crank crank...nothing wait 3/4 seconds crank crank crank...nothing.
Do this 4/5/6/7 times and bike finally starts.
This condition is only after the bike sits over night. It's history is to start on the first split second of cranking.
Came on kinda slowly. The bike can run for maybe 10/20 seconds and I can stop it and crank it again and it starts on a split second. It will start perfect and run and start perfect all day long. Just let it sit OVER NIGHT and same issue.
No smoking at all.
New battery.
Tank full of gas.
Gets 50mpg.
80k miles.
Does not burn any oil.
Cranks perfectly.
Any ideas?
Just my experience with my 07 Ultra. To make a long story short. I had kinda same problem. But. Only after engine was hot. Got to the point that on the road it would not start. Unplugged connection to throttle body and plugged back in. Must have been corroded. Started and has been started ever since.
To diagnose I would give it a shot of either ( just a shot) before cranking to see if it starts. May not keep running but will tell you if its fuel or spark.
Good luck. Let us know.
Sounds pike a fuel issue. Get some starting fluid and spray it in the air intake and if you fire up check your fuel system.
As mentioned above check your throttle body connection and clean the valve and connection.
any check engine lights? You can pull the code using the odometer button.

theres a place on the intake manifold I believe you could check the fuel pressure.
