If nothing else hopefully itll make HD get off their a s s....$30k bikes that immediately NEED new suspension and more power is unacceptable. They have the capability, they just havent needed to do it. Now, they might...
I think we'll see the new softail style mono-shock frame in the Touring bikes very soon. 2020 bikes are still wobbling...they really need to get it together to keep charging a premium. An adjustable windshield shouldve been there 10 years ago, too.
Roadglide is an awesome bike. I own a 2015 and love it. My loyalty will stay with Harley Davidson until they no longer build a quality product. Indian Challenger is a mere "Copy Cat" to the original shark nose engineering and style of Harley Davidson. Indian should go design their own bagger instead of trying to ride on Harley's coat tails.

They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
It's a phony company. Est 1901 my ___ !!!
The Indian Motorcycle Co went out of business in 1953.
End of story. Over the years a hand full of companies have
bought the rights to the "Indian" name
Polaris is just the latest one to barf it up again.

ignorant comment. Harley also went out of business... 1969.... AMF owned them from 69-81 until a group of investors bought Harley.... Polaris doing same. Silly comments

they didn't go out of business they were taken over by AMF...never stopped doing business. Polaris bought a dead horse and revived it, I don't think anyone is doubting that. Nice to see another harley hater has joined the site lol.

I believe the Batwing was the 1st mass produced factory installed fairing (Not made by an outside source "Windjammer")
It doesn't change the fact that the Indian's are just another knock off Harley. It has made Harley up their game. (I've stated that several times)
I've seen ONE Indian on the road in the last 3-4 mo's. Our local dealer (Arlen Ness) dumped em. ( Nothing to do with Arlen's passing)
It might have been a mutual thing. How can you keep the lights on selling 5 motorcycles per mo ?
I give Indian 2 more yrs.

Talking about an ignorant comment. You may want to brush up on your history before commenting silly stuff like that. Harley Davidson was still HD during the AMF days just another owner other than a Harley or a Davidson. The Polaris Indian is a completely different situation and yes they are copying HD. The chieftain didn't sell well at all until they made it look like a street glide. Heck even Polaris Indian lovers were mad at the fact it looked like a copycat. I am not bashing them because they do have some cool ideas and machines but they are not my type of a machine
It's not a Copy of a Harley, if they do it better. Technically, it appears they may have copied the Honda Goldwing.
Only in looks, is it similar to Harley.
