Fixed it myself!
I posted 3-4 weeks ago about my 98 fuel injected RKC having idle problems. Not a big deal, but annoying. It would high idle 10-15 minutes in warm weather before it would drop down and randomly spike . Dealer mechanic told me, that's the way they run and to live with it or spend a lot of money trying to get it right.( Thanks buddy). After posting here, getting some good advice, and reading about fuel injection in the service manual I decided to spend $95 and put in a new engine temp. sensor, then reset the hi/low idle . Problem solved. When cold drops to low idle in about a minute. When warm goes right to low idle. Thanks to people on this forum and no thanks to the dealer. Sure feels good to fix it yourself! Shane
