For $35, these are actually pretty good quality. Rode around a little with them yesterday running errands. It was pretty windy, and as I passed semi's they seem to steer the bike around a little.
I just installed some EBay cheap ones on my bike and love them.
That chrome plate on the front has to go!
I actually prefer to just where a very thin pair of gloves in the summer. That is plenty to protect your hands from bugs, debris, and wind. In the winter, I use the same pair of thin gloves along with my Kahuna heated grips. If you all have or have tried the Kahuna heated grips, you know how hot they get. I have never had to turn them up more than half way, even in 35° F weather.

****, that aint no stinking chrome...lol. I dont see that piece when Im sitting on the bike...14 years old, 107000 miles, I dont worry about Vanity anymore...Function plain and simple.
I have the handguards from Memphis Shades, and I am starting to think, maybe I have them mounted wrong. My fingertips still end up hurting from the cold
I ended up making my own. I got some cheap plastic dirt bike guards, then built a new mount for them. I also incorporated new mirror mounts to match my bars, and while I was at it, I made a phone mount which can be seen behind the master cylinder. It all bolts on through the original mirror mount hole in the master cylinder. It works great for my big trips, but I am still on the fence about the looks of the whole thing.
I have a buddy who has them on his Street Glide and loves them. I've really been considering them for my Road Glide. Almost put them on my Dyna a couple years ago but never got around to it. I personally like the look and the benefits are a plus too.
