yeah I was about to order the ultimate seat because I have never seen any negative reviews about it. But now I’m seeing quite a bit of them. I can’t justify spending that kind of money on something I might not like. Now the Mustang seats are on back order. I’ve got to do something I can’t take that factory seat anymore.
you are referring to Ultimate the company? or you mean the Hammock was the ultimate seat? (ultimate being an adjective)
note disclaimer at URL above "...It has come to our attention that secondary brand seat makers are using Ultimate Seats in the description for their seats. Do not get misled with this blatant misbranding confusion."
... As sorry as it sounds, I’ve come to believe the right seat often comes down to buying several (over the years) in a process of elimination/rejection until a good one is found.
+1, its expensive and it sucks.
Own 2 Hammocks (1 bought used), good seat, wondering what HD is thinking with this one.

I ordered the ultimate seat. Unfortunately they are on back order. I hope I will still be able to ride in 3 to 4 weeks when it is supposed to ship. The 14 day return policy is one of the reasons why I went with them.
