Default Mustang Standard Touring vs. Sport Touring

Maybe someone other than Mustang (they only offered marginal advice) can share their opinion/difference between the Mustang Standard Touring 76033 seat vs. their Sport Touring 76032 seat. According to their specs, there is a difference in the width of both the passenger and rider seat, but other than they appear to be the same.....is that correct?

Even though I own a Ultra Limited "Low" I currently ride on a standard HD regular seat (not a low) and find it a good height for me, and it doesn't "crush my boys" like the original "low" seat. I don't want to change my sitting position I just want the comfort of a Mustang seat like I had on previous non HD cycles I've owned.

Any advice?

Looking at them the difference appears to be what you stated in the width profile of both the rider and passenger. They stopped making claims on the seat dimnsion differences from stock as they vary based on what seat you were changing from and what model year you were putting them on. I know the same seat sits a little different between the 09-13 and the 2017-up. I think there were some subtle changes to rear frame on the rushmores and then total frame changes with the M8's.

I would email mustang and ask them but I am guessing people with street glides, road glides and road kings didn't like the look of the wide seats on those bikes.

I can only comment on the sport touring. Compared to the stock StreetGlide seat the sport touring moves you a bit forward and you sit a bit higher. The nose is narrower so placing your feet on the ground is more of a straight shot instead of bending your leg around the front of the seat. I have a 32" inseam and a 34" waist and his seat fits me fine, I would not want or need anything wider.

Thanks......It does appear that the only difference is the Sport Turning is a bit narrower overall (and a little less $$). I suppose it's best to "demo" the seat, but I've heard that Mustang has a very tough return policy on returned seats, showing even the very slightest use. I'll call around and see if any local shops have a demo Mustang seat.

One of the HD shops near me (3 are within a 20 mile radius) has a Mustang seat display. My plan is to drive over and see if they have both the Standard and the Sport to check out.
