Haven't encountered the man in blue as of yet but this is SPOT ON! I can 100% agree and mine is up-staged 107.
Enjoy!
The same here on the man in blue, but I get it with my 103", and even more so on the test runs of the 107 and 114's. Too darn easy to too darn fast, but it is smile inducing. Eric Stanley will be having a smorgasbord of bugs in the near future. Better get that balaclava cleaned up, or get a new tooth brush, lol.
Eric, best of luck with your transaction!
I can certainly understand you having concerns about a $20,000.00+ purchase.
From what I understand, HD has pretty well gotten pre 2020 "bugs" out of the M8.
I think you should "rest easy" and look forward to enjoying many trouble free miles (& maybe not just on the weekends).
One minor disappointment that some FLHRXS owners have is that the bike doesn't come with a windshield.
Not an issue for many though, as it allowed us to opt for a preferred height, style, and method of mounting.
Looks like the dealer also added detachable docking hardware, different bars, and if I'm not mistaken, different mufflers too.
If the deal isn't closed yet, you may wish to pursue passenger pegs that match your foot boards.
I've found this forum to be a very good resource, especially when considering aftermarket parts.
Be sure and check out the "Road King Special thread."
and ENJOY!

Thanks. I did end up buying it. She's done a fair amount of collecting dust since then (waiting to get to the DMV to get legal). Thanks for the well thought out reply. I'll definitely look for the Road King Special thread and will be lurking around the forum quite a bit.
