Wagondog , if you really want a mirror finish on those forks , get a polishing wheel for a drill and hit them with a green jewellers rouge , you won't regret it . Then you can clean them up regularly with blue magic .
Thanks MyFavRk
I have the buff wheel and drill.....all I need is the rouge. The wheel and fender is back on but its still too cold to ride so you have extended my project, wheel comes off!
thanks for the advice
Amen !!!!!! Done that a bunch. I guess that was why I was asking here. Maybe not quite so much elbow grease. In 2014 at Daytona bike week I bought a tube of what the vendor was selling called " CUTTING EDGE" tent vendor. It was amazing. Cannot find it nowhere. It actually dried up in my garage before I could finish it off. I too like Mothers as it performs quite well. Thanks gang for the responses here. APPRECIATED !!!!!!
I am guessing you have the 9 spoke wagon wheels? Personally, When I had all that aluminum to polish I used one of these. These fit on a buffer/grinder. It will make your aluminum look like chrome. The drill method was just entirely to slow and didn't give me the results I was looking for.
Thanks. I like this one and your comments. Which grade would you recommend. My aluminum is not that bad at all just has that cloudy look if you know what i mean. Appreciated this reply and picture my forum friend.
Hey guys how do I reply to a specific post in this thread without it going to the bottom of the thread. Like replying to someone's suggestion with his text above my response. Yes I am computer illiterate. Old gezzer LOL.

Click "Quote" first, like I just did. And don't feel bad, I do not even own a cell phone.

Ok. Now that you got me past that here you go. And thanks for the help by the way. What cut do you recommend? What paste? Like I was saying just cloudy cases. I really try to keep it caught up. But you know aluminum it doesn't take much to discolor.
