You`d think that someone could develop an LED bulb with integrated resistance to make this plug & play
Actually, someone did....
Harley-Davidson Motor Company did it back in 2010...
When I bought my 2012 Limited, I had it delivered with the HD LED turn signals on both the front (LED signal front #68411-10) and rear (LED signals rear #68128-10)
They came in pairs, I paid $118 per set, and they come with built-in load equalizers. They were plug and play... The MoCo probably still sells them...
$236 for four LED turn signals w/ a load equalizer built in wasn't a bad price.. and since they were installed by the dealer at delivery, they fell under the 24 month factory warranty. I had one replaced 6 months shy of the factory warranty running out...
Since then, however, I've been using Custom Dynamics LED bulbs/lights/load equalizers...

I currently have the same H-D LEDs with smoke lenses and will also be changing out to the CD LEDs as well. The H-D had their own housing, so glad I kept the old ones to replace.
If they are Custom Dynamics call them. There is a series of steps to make this stop happening. There is no need to buy anything additional. This happened to me and their instructions fixed it in less than 5 minutes.

This would work if the OP had a canbus bike...
The OP has a 2012 Limited which is pre-canbus....
The "learning procedure" to stop the hyper flash from LED lights only works on canbus bikes... pre-canbus bikes like the OP's bike need a load equalizer in the system to stop the hyper flash...

Oops, completely skipped over the year of his bike. Thanks for catching. I chalk it up to pre-coffee web surfing.
