Hi,
Just installed Defiance Hand Grips on 2018 FLHR https://www.harley-davidson.com/us/e...ips/p/56100158
but there is a big gap between switch housing and throttle grip.
Do you part number of plastic ring shown on pic ? thinking to install to eliminate gap.
That was my point, there is no separate part numbers for the bushings. The only way to get your hands on them is to order the front & rear housings, then the bushings are included.
When you changed grips, did you retain the OE black switch housings? The housings, along with the front brake master cylinder can be loosened, and adjusted outboard to eliminate the gap.
Do you have aftermarket bars?
my LA choppers left a 1/4 gap between the 1 1/4 transition to 1 bar end.
I used 1/4 black cable tie and it looks like it was meant to be. Not sure if your sue is similar but thats what I did.
I can take a pic if you care to see.
