One of my favorite bikes that I've owned was my 2007 RK Custom. So, I really liked the Specail when I saw it. I'm not a blackout fan, but I could live with it. However, I would have to change the handlebars. The bullet fairing will look great, or even the Road King CVO windshield. I had the CVO windshield on my RK Custom.
I like the looks of the 21's, but they really are pushing the boundaries of what's affordable. You can tell the push is to upsell, they didn't update the tank console on the standard and cut the color selection down to 3. The 114 should be standard this year, yet they keep the 107 around for essentially the same reason. I would be more amendable to spending that kind of money If the special came with better shocks, choice of handlebars, upgraded windscreen, premium seat, etc. But it's still the same basic platform as the standard that I have to toss 4 grand into just to make it comfortable. They sure do look pretty though.
Just curious are you guys pulling parts off your old bikes or trading them as is?
I like the colors, Don't think I'm ready for the new price tag though.
What are they giving you for trade-in?
It seems impossible to me that these bikes are selling so well.
I'd heard MoCo was doomed and on the verge of failing any minute. They were giving less and charging more. The new colors were terrible. You can buy an INSERT BRAND HERE for thousands less and they're built so much better...

I saw that venom paint job and said yep. It's mine.
I also love the 2021's,, just bought this one! Ordered Native kit for front within 24h after purchasing it. Also have new stereo stuff arrived yesterday. I like chrome, but I think blacked out looks bad *** on this color combo.
