I'm one of those that prefer the heel/toe shifters on my 2015 Ultra Limited. Having recently purchased a new pair of riding boots that are a bit larger than my previous pair, I'd like to move my HD stock heel shifter back a bit....1" to 2" max would be perfect. I just want a heel shifter that looks like the stock one, not the fancy and expensive billet ones, and I only want to replace the heel shifter not both. I don't want to buy the cheap China crap on eBay .....can anyone recommend a good one to check out? Thx.
I never found one I liked so I got the floor board extensions and moved my floorboards out an 1" on each side. Didn't effect clearance at all that I can tell and it gave me more room on the boards for my feet. Instead of the shifter taking up all the space, now only about a 3rd of the shifter is over the floor board and I just have to move my foot in slightly to shift or brake. Not a big deal to do but made a world of difference on comfort. Good luck with your search.
Just curious, what didn't you like about the ones you found?
I'm still thinking I might give it a try. J&P sells one that's about $35 and is 9.75" overall (stock is 7.25" overall).....the 2.5" increase might be more than I need or want just not sure.

Nothing specific, just couldn't decide what direction I wanted to go......
I too like the heel shifter. Agreed that I wish it were back a little more but I haven’t gotten around to worrying about it yet. So many things to buy....

Do you have a part number for that, I looked on J&P and couldn't find it the only one I found said it wouldn't fit my bike (2020 RGS). Thanks.
I used this one from Dennis Kirk. Solid steel, no flex. It works great for me with Size 11 1/2 boots and it is just about $22. Makes finding neutral really easy. On a 2016 Ultra Classic. Don't know how to make this a hyperlink on my phone.

Although they might not be listed for your bike, any of the shifters for say a 2017+ will fit as it has not changed on a 2020.
I would recommend the 35 buck one (or others) as the 20 buck one uses a smaller diameter set screw which may look "off" to some folks. I have that one and wish I got the 35 buck one....
FWI - I got a solid shifter off either eBay or Amazon. It's 9.5" My shoe canoes are size 14W. I also did the floorboard extensions. I also did a longer front shift peg.
