Hi all, please tell me how i can make the following work.
i have a sena 50r, whim and 2020 street glide with apple carplay.
my problem is that if i connect my 50r to my bike i cant activate mesh intercom to chat with my friends...
does it mean i can use either apple carplay or mesh intrrcom?
Does this problem persist with hd branded sena headset?

Resurrection of this old thread here... was there ever a solution found for this? I have a SENA 50S and having this same issue. Cannot turn on MESH while Carplay is active on the bike. Thanks
in looking at the comparison chart, hd shows the capabilities of the 50r to be equal to the 30k. i have the 30k and have never had any problem connecting via mesh to my wife on her bike, and also being connected to my bike via whim.
all we've ever had to do is once we get everything paired up to our bikes, just a quick press on the mesh intercomm button, and boom, connected.
I and others have written extensive explanations as to why this is an issue. Please look for those threads. In short, unless your headset is an HD branded Sena headset you will have this issue.
