you can replace those covers, but they are outrageously expensive. it is much cheaper, and imo, better, to get the magnetic flaps. you can get the pair for only slightly more than hd wants for one of the snap doors.
The magnetic fasteners work well. In my opinion the snaps were a PITA! Otherwise someone who does leather working might have replacement snaps that could work.
Snaps need maintenance, I learned the hard way on boat covers. The canvas shop said put a little vasoline on a Q-tip and wipe it around the inside of the snaps twice a year and you'll have very few problems with them. After I started doing it I've only replaced 1 snap in 5 years on 2 boats, it works.
I agree with skratch, go with the magnetic replacement doors and be done with it. Easier to open when you want to throw some gloves or something in there while going down the road. They stay closed until you open them and I have had them on my lowers since 2012 and have never had an issue. The great thing about them is the hinge from the bottom and your not fighting to get snaps closed all the time. Good luck on your project......
