I too am amazed at the negativity of some of the posts...but that is human nature. You can file them under:
Damnant quod non intellegunt
And absolutely everyone is entitled to their opinion.
But is it better to be thought an idiot - than type and remove all doubt?
And the cost of a motorcycle is irrelevant. Who cares how much Harley charges for their bikes? I cant put a price on the joy of riding one. If you cant afford it, that is on you.
For those that can build this Icon from the Harley parts bin - throw down! Talk is cheap. Lets see it. Put your money where your mouth is.
Of course Im just stirring the pot a bit...I respect all you guys and gals who jump on these bad *** machines and ride. And I love reading the posts.
This is what I did to my Heritage. I happen to love vintage and saw something different in the Classic.
Very nice pics...thanks for sharing. I didnt realize you had scored the Revival...congratulations on a beautiful bike (and wife). You look to be the first member here that has bought one. I was at my dealer last night and they have one and are only getting one. As suspected, the bike is more stunning than any website or video I have seen. It was getting a lot of attention. They were at MSRP plus freight on the price. I didnt see any added markup (they never inflate prices). Anyway, i did notice the height would be an issue for many. At 32 inseam, I would probably lower it an inch. I am not in the market for a new one right now but if I were, it would be my choice over all other models. The only changes I would want is to lower it an inch, painted vent fairing to match and slip ons. I might also consider a detachable tourpak for those longer trips. It would have to be painted white to match of course. Anyway, I hope she brings you many safe miles and fond memories. Please keep us posted on your thoughts as you get some experience riding it.
We left her at the dealership on the floor so people can get a good look at her. Waiting for parts to come in for the suspension drop and we are taking off to Maui for our anniversary so riding will have to happen when we return.
i am 5-10 and cannot flat foot it. Love it just the same. Seeing her in person set the hook. There was no turning back.
So Harley gives a 2 year unlimited mile warranty for civilian bikes but a 3 year 60k mi warranty on police bikes. They give more warranty on bikes they know will get beat to death vs many that are garage queens. Interesting.
San Diego Harley gave us a life time warranty on the motor/trans through the dealership on our 21 Road Glide Special and the Icon Revival.
Picked mine up Friday. Love it! Paid list price. The suspension is the same as SGS, the seat height is taller due to the cop seat. I took it off and put my Saddlemen Road Sofa on along with passenger foot boards and a backrest for Mama. Gotta keep her happy!😁 I plan on sending the Road Sofa to Saddlemen this winter to get done in black & white.

Obviously they like you, though I have no idea why. 🙂
Actually San Diego Harley is under new ownership and the lifetime engine warranty is on the dealership - not Harley.
But yes, if they hadn't given us advance "warning' of the bike's arrival, then we would have missed the purchase.
Really looking forward to seeing the Pan America. Since we are also in Arizona, it might be a good trail bike.

Nice score on the most beautiful bike in the lineup this year! Please share a pic or two with the Saddlemen seat if you get a chance. How long did it take to do a seat change?
