Ebay Hard Saddlebags
Want to paint my bike (myself) but it's my only mode of transportation, so I'm buying fenders, tank and saddlebags so i can paint them at my leisure, do the swap and then sell my current stuff. Been looking at used saddlebag prices (DAMN!) and see some new ABS versions on Ebay for around $200 a pair. Read some pros and cons conversations ABS versus genuine Harley and understand you get what you pay for. I'm wondering if any of you fine folks bought the ABS versions and what your thoughts are. Thanks and ride fast and safe!

They aren't bad. I bought some universal ABS bags from ebay and they worked great until I bought a bagger. Then I took them off the Softail and set them aside.

I have a set of the cvo style, swept bags for my 11. They're pretty good. Body shop said they did one decent coat of high build primer and sanded, they're straight. Fitment is good as well. For the $200 or whatever I spent, I'm not disappointed. Especially considering the cost of real cvo bottoms for pre-14 bikes.
