I have the Panacea tail lights. Work great. I swapped my rear blinkers to red LED's and the brake light pulses three times and the blinkers go red when I hit the brakes. Pretty cool. Also the left or right half of the tail light flashes with your blinker when you turn. Dirt simple to install, all plug and play.
The Kuryakyn flasher unit is great. It just plugs into the wiring harness behind the battery and you cable tie the load equalizer to the frame. 10 minutes start to finish. ( including 3 minutes to drink your Coors.)
I have one from www.comagination.com, easy to install and works great. They have one that will flash 4 times or one that will flash 7-9 times.
Did you install it right in the brake light housing?
No. I had to splice into the 12v lead going to the brake light which is accessible under the seat and ground it to the bettery. Tok me maybe 30 minutes to do and most of the time was spent trying to get the battery out of the tray [:@].
10 minutes? Man, you guys in Canada are quick. Must have been in the winter and in a hurry to get out of that unheated garage. j/k. [8D]

I just installed the Kisan and it works great. As simple as unplugging the stock tail light bulb and plugging in the Kisan. The modulator is built into the bulb housing.
