Default Clutch Question

I have a 21 RGS. When I shift I can feel it in the clutch lever. It almost feels like the cable or the lever is catching on something momentarily. (Which is what I thought at first) But it’s like a click in the lever when I shift. Never felt this before in my other bikes. Something out of adjustment? I’ll be scheduling the 1000 mile service soon. Was wondering if I should be concerned.

You won't notice it after a few more miles! Surprised me that the cable operated clutch does it also.

Nothing is wrong. It's the Assist and Slip clutch.

Although the below is outlining the "Hydraulic clutch", the cable operated clutch operates the same as the actual "Clutch" mechanism (the ramps etc) are the same...
