I bought a tour pack mount for a king tour pack for my 03 police road king. With the pack on, my bags won’t open, how do I raise the pack up? will it still be stationary, and help please would be great
I put a pre Rushmore tour pak on a Rushmore bike. I went to Walmart and bought a 3/8" nylon cutting board and trimmed it to fit between the tour pak and mounting rack. The Rushmore's mounting rack is flat so it worked fine. I'm not sure what shape yours has.
My latches rubbed with mine in solo position. Bought some 1/2" aluminum channel and longer bolts. Cut the channel to create 2 rails and match drilled the bolt pattern. Added some isolation washers to reduce the stress on the ABS. Lifted it just enough to a clear.
