After going through about 8 seats off Craigs List for my 01 Road King for a few years I ended up buying a new Sundowner seat. It works ok but I have to believe there is something better out there for two up riding. The seat is good for about an hour and a half then we have too get off.
One thing about HD brands is I can see and sometimes try a demo before I buy. I just hate to put out the money for a seat Im not happy with.
Has anyone bought a new seat feeling the seat they bought is much better than anything else? Im 511 at 230lbs and my wife is 130lbs.
For my Road King I had a Mustang 2 piece seat that was very comfortable for both wife and I. Sorry but I don't recall the exact model. It did have a riders backrest which greatly contributed to the comfort factor.
