Just picked up my new 2011 Road King Classic and it has this HD Speedo installed. Theres a couple of indicator lights Im not sure about and cant seem to find any literature on this model at all.
Tried all of the catalogs, searched photos through google and havent found anything. Certainly can remove the unit this weekend and get a p/n.
Ive highlighted the lamp Im asking about. I noticed it was on as I was riding this afternoon and then, after a couple of stops, it never went back on.
That is the HD Combination Digital Speedometer/Analog Tachometer; part number 70900001A. I found its instruction sheet but it only describes the installation. It does not specify what the warning lights are.
I’m pretty sure the “idiot” light symbols are standard, regardless of which gauge cluster you have. Look up your user manual. It should tell you which symbols are what.
