I found out through a Harley Customer Service Rep that just because you have, or are going to purchase a Bluetooth compatible cell phone to be used with the new Harley radio, there may not be an interface available for it yet. Best thing to do is contact the Harley Service Rep like I did. His name was Rob, and he was very concerned about having the phone list updated on their web site by Harmon radio Co. I gave him the model of phone I wanted and he is contacting the Harmon radio company to get me some info.
I thought that all it needs is the bluetooth program on the phone and its a plug and play deal?
You should also get the phone list update and post it here,I am inline for a new cell phone I guess I should wait till the new list is in before I go shopping.
According to HD info, it must be listed as a compatable phone. I have it, have a compatable phone, but have low volume in the headset with the volume turned all the way up. I'm wondering if it's my phone, or just the module. I wish there was a way to make it louder. With the low volume, it's not really worth the $495.00. I have to get the person on the other end to speak loud in order to hear them. Really, I think that the entire radio volume it too low in the headsets, but the Bluetooth module is the worst.
The volume on mine is just fine but I do have to keep it turned up to almost max. Is yours more difficult to hear at high speed? I found that tweaking the AVC makes the unit compensate for ambient noise just fine.
