Default Need a wire identified

Can anyone tell me what this wire is for? I just bought the bike and I want to see what this is. Can I use it to power a phone? Is there a connector available for it? This is on the left side of the forks.
Thanks!

put a meter on it and figure out when it has power- kinda looks like the plug for aux driving lights........... You can probably find the correct male side of the plug on a microfiche

In any event I doubt you can “identify” what its really for from this picture.

Looks to me like it might be the wire for the fender tip light.

Though wiring is pretty basic...unless it is a canbus system, you may get more specific answers if you let us know what bike that wire is connected to.

His thread before this one mentions a 2017 Road King.
