I have the one from Harley and it seems to work pretty well. It may lose the stations a little sooner than the stock one though when getting on the outskirts of town.

I use a fairing antenna for my scoot.

But, I got one of these for my Tundra. And they make it for Harleys too.

As for how it works, it's awesome. IF I didn't already have the fairing antenna, I would deff get one of these for the bike.
