Default 2007 Ultra issues?

I have a 2007 Ultra & when riding back yesterday afternoon the red key light, check engine light, & battery light all came on. The DC outlet quit working (I was charging my cell phone for GPS), speedometer, & tachometer stopped working along w/ the odometer (the odometer stayed on the current mileage for 30 miles). Any idea where to start - replace battery? Thanks in advance!

Do a complete charging system check. You need to check the voltage regulator and stator as well as the battery. If you need a VR or stator, cycle electric is a great alternative to dealer bought.

I would check battery and connections first.

Check out the charging system troubleshooting sticky. Pretty straight forward. Turns out it was the voltage regulator on my 07 ElectraGlide. Lots of you tube videos as well.

I'm not terribly mechanically inclined so thanks for the help! I tested it & it read 12.58v when off. When I fired her up, my check engine, etc lights are now OFF & it read 14.33v just idling. What do you think? Something wasn't working & now is haha...

I would suspect t voltage devulator in early stages of failure. When hot beginning to shunt to ground or diodes failing In the rectifier cir uit.
