I got a question. Just about everytime I'm involved in a piticular project on my bike (as I am now, installing hyd. clutch kit on a '07 SG) At sometime I end up visiting my local dealer to have him print out for me a instruction sheet for a piticular accessory/kit from his computer. Is there anywhere on the internet that we can go to obtain these print out's from the comfort of our own PC's? I know he is signed onto HDnet which is only accessable from the dealers network but I'd thought I'd ask? Putt
Just go ahead and pick up the service manual. You will have it paid for in no time considering the cost of fuel and most of all the what I believe, the intentional misguidance and twisting of instructions included withadd-on service parts, which supports increased dealer service.
No No No, That is not what I am talking about. I have both the factory service manual and part's manual for every bike I ever build. A new bike doesn't hit my garage without one. Don't tell my Pastor but I open these more then I do the Bible....
I'm talking about the istruction sheet that comes with any part/kit that you get from your local dealer. iYouwon't find these in any service manual. Does anyone understand what I am asking? Maybe the answer just isn't here, thats ok. I learned along time ago that the only stupid question is the one that you don't ask.....Thx, Putt
The dealers have them on file to print out or have access to them, local dealer printed one out for me once.
I don't think they are accessable to us mortals.
Putt,
Yea, I understand what your saying. None of the instructions are worth the paper they are written on. This prevents shade trees from doing it thus providing increased monies for the stealer. It's clear there is two sets of instructions.
If you can get printouts by all means post them for the rest of the mortals as Akitokoi illustrates.
