There are too many low mileage bikes, with known histories of good maintenance, to roll the dice on a bike with a questionable and/or unknown history...
There are no guarantees in life ... only that you're not getting out alive ... If it looks good, sounds good, rides good and has a good clear title why not ?

?? With only 6000 miles on it, worst case is it only missed it's first service. Plus you said the 2nd owner has service records. Check'm out to see what he's done.
If a dealer or reputable indy did the servicing, if there were problems I'm sure the techs would have found it during the servicing. i don't see a problem. Maybe you could knock down the price for new tires.
It is a used bike that is 6 or 7 years old.
6,000 miles is not much.
The length of ownership for second owner would be interesting to know.
But basically it is a used bike so full review would be required.
For all you know the first owner could have passed away after a few years and nobody wanted to pay so it was repo.
