Default Prodigy wheels for '18 RK standard; thoughts?

Once a year I do something fun to my motorcycle. Thinking about the HD Prodigy wheels for my 2018 Road King (Standard) next time my tires need changing. Thoughts about the looks? Bronze and blacked-out are the choices. My bike is Vivid Black with lots of chrome.

i kinda like 'em. not so much the bronze ones, but the contrast cut. i know the hd website is only showing bronze or black, but the contrast is available as oem, not on the p&a side. its also about $150 cheaper than the solid black. i wonder how they would look chromed out? whatever you do, don't just do the front and neglect the rear. you can see the rear wheel, and, imo, it looks funny to have mismatched wheels. unless it's the old school solid disk rear and spoked front. i also like that look.

I agree with you; got to do both wheels or none. The parts catalog does not offer the contrast wheel, which I like; just the bronze or blacked-out. Going to see if my dealer can get the contrast one.

The contrast Prodigy wheel is standard on the 2021 Road Glide Special so they should be able to get them for you. Good luck on your project.

I agree the contrast cut Prodigy wheels would look best on your Road King. The black would look ok, but besides the paint, they'd be the only thing that is all blacked out. As much as I love the bronze, I don't think they'd look great with all the chrome. If your Road King was more blacked out, the bronze would probably look great.

It looks like the below number are the contrast Prodigy wheels from the 2021 Road Glide Special - be best to have your dealer confirm.

43300841 WHEEL, cast, without bearings and sleeve, 10X spoke, 19 inch (gloss black/machined) FLHXS, FLTRXS
40900822 WHEEL, cast, without bearings and sleeve, 10X spoke, 18 in (gloss black machined) FLHXS, FLTRXS

FWIW, I have the bronze Prodigy wheels on my 2020 Road Glide Limited, but my bike is pretty well blacked out.

part number posted up above (43300841). should have no problem ordering that from your local dealer, or from one of the discount dealers.
***edit*** redbeard posted the numbers for both front and rear.

i would still also like to see a set of these fully chromed out. bet they would look hot.

I agree with others. You have too much chrome to be messin' with the bronze. The cross-cut is on the chrome RGS, so maybe your dealer will have the bike on the floor.

If you're not loyal to H-D branding, you might want to check out HogPro online, although they want some coin for the wheels. They're in Canoga Park, but might be a bit of a ride in that LA traffic.
