Arlen Ness Enterprises introduces their new Big Shot™ Adjustable Fuel Injection Tuner. The Big Shot™ is a new load-based fuel injection module that does not require any splicing or modifications to your motorcycle during installation. Big Shot™ modules come pre-loaded with base maps for different models which can then be fine tuned for each individual’s riding style and bike with three buttons. Tuning is so easy that laptops and dyno machines are not required to maximize your motorcycle’s performance.
Utilizing the latest in load-based technology in fuel injection performance, the Big Shotâ„¢ detects the exact amount of load on the engine at any RPM and any road speed and delivers the perfect amount of fuel to the engine for optimum performance. This is a superior design over fuel injection modules that work off of throttle position. As throttle positions can be the same at different speeds and with different loads on the engine, with the same amount of fuel injected into the engine in these varying conditions, performance can suffer.
The Big Shotâ„¢ is available for the following models:
[ul][*]2007 Big Twin Models[*]1995-2005 FI Big Twin models[*]2006 FI Softail/FLT models[*]2006 Dyna models[*]2002-Up V-Rod models[*]2003-Up Victory models [/ul]

I just ordered me one I think it is suppose to be here tue or wed. Dobeck makes em they use to sell it but not anymore now you have to buy it from one of there vendors.. My son ordered his from Dobeck 12-6-06 when they first came out. I think these are easier to adjust than the one I had for my 06 where you turn the screws. Son put it on his when he put Rinehart TD, K&N 3909 air filter on. He has had it on several xxx miles and no problems. I had around 18-19 xxx on the one I had on the 06.

Default RE: Arlen Ness Big Shot

Looked up what I could find on the arlen ness big shot. I would like to know if is running the bike in open loop or closed loop mode. In closed loop mode the o2 sensors are used to figure out air:fuel ratio but the lowest the narrow band o2 sensors in the hd bikes can operate or read is a 14.2:1 a/f ratio. That would help but still not get the bike to where it should be operating (ie 13.5:1 or 13:1 a/f ratio). If it is running in open loop mode and not using the o2 sensors then I can understand that it could run at any given a/f ratio it is programed to operate at.
