I am on a Trike with a mangled left leg and I do not and would not put a reverse gear on........and I can't even get the old lady to help....90% of the time you don't need it most curbs are pitched so it is an eary roll and if it is a parking space it will take you longer to shift into reverse than yank the clutch in a nd roll her back.
It only takes one time to learn the secret. Oh, and great looking bike Phil. Drop a woman before the bike, yeah I did that too and the bike fell on her. Not even a scratch on the chrome!!
Goldwings have a reverse gear because theres no room to move your legs around all that plastic ****, but I havent really found a need for it on my Roadglide.
Goldwings actually just use the starter to back up the bike engaged on the ring gear.
