I went down to the dealer in Coosbay Oregon Saterday and picked up my new StreetGlide. Pearl black, a bute I tell ya. About 120 miles from home so I got to have a nice ride. Love the bike, but....... it kind of eritates me when my bike is quote $18,508 with 322 demo miles. My Dad goes in with me and is qoated$18,500 for the exact same bike just diff. color with 0 miles. WTF? No biggie, I got the bike I wanted. My Dad had no intentions of buying a bike when he rode down there with me, but ended up buying a UltraClassic. Between my Dad and I, $40,000 worth of bikes out the door and not so much as a T-shirt. The only thing we got was our bikes. Oh well, it's not about the T-shirt. I'm living large right now.
Congrats Brian. I bought my first Harley from those guys. Acutally I think they changed ownership since then. I bet a T-Shirt would have been thrown in had you asked for it........
I'm in the Portland area. PM me if you want to go for a ride sometime.
In my mind, double bagger means a whole different thing! LOL [:-]Congratulations on the new ride. I love the black pearl color. Is your bike a '07 or '08?
That to bad about the dealership not providing any extra goodies. Mine provided me a battery charger, 250 spending dolllars, T-Shirt, delivered it to my house andprovided apicture plaque of my bike. I even got a good price and the they provided the goodies even thou I did not buy a maintenance package or extended warranty.
