THIS. I’ve been using this exact jacket for years and years. absolutely the best armored mesh jacket I’ve seen, mine has back, shoulder and elbow protection. I actually had a wreck in 2007 while wearing this jacket and it held up really well - I had a bad right shoulder impact.
I bought a Revit Tornado mesh when I bought my 2011 Sporty new. Great jacket and comes with a removable waterproof thermal liner, so this jacket is great for the cooler mornings. Lot's of airflow, and I normally wear it with a tee underneath. Comes with elbows and shoulder protection and has a pocket for a back armor.
I'm happy with my Joe Rocket Super Cruiser Mesh Jacket with the stock armour and rain liner. The main reason for choosing it, I use a Joe Rocket King Cruiser leather jacket and liked its fit and quality. My only complaint is it uses quite a bit of velcro, I prefer snaps and buckles. I could have gone without the liner, I have a full rain suit in the Limited. And I probably would not take the little adventure bike out on dirt roads when its raining.
I have tried a few including the Joe Rocket mesh which is good. I currently have a HD Kilbourn and really like it. I actually bought a size up (as I usually do for my KTM and BMW gear) and it was too big. I bought a second correct sized one and I have an XXL that is brand new with tags that I would like to sell.
Let me know if you have any interest. It is darker than the pics. The flash makes it look gray, it is black.
I have a couple of mesh jackets, one is Joe Rocket and the other is Speed and Strength. Will probably upgrade to a Klim mesh in the near future though.
I just bought this jacket 2 months ago and love it. Thermal liner and waterproof liner come out and it has vents on the arms and chest and 3 vents on the back.
