I have a 2017 ultra, I did 16” bars, my bike won’t start in gear, however the cruise still disengages when I pull in the clutch and the gear that I’m in on the cluster disappeared as is should prior to bars

The "won't start in gear" issue is likely related to the clutch lever switch. While pulling in the clutch lever does disengage the cruise, it's not switch activation that causes disengagement. Disengagement is caused when the module senses an increase in RPM.

Sure it started in gear before the bars? 2017 was a bad year for left switch packs!
yes because I took it to the shop to have the clutch and brake bled and it jumped forward in gear with the lever pulled in, but had no clutch (air in the system) I also always start in gear because I park in gear
Exactly, While in motion normal riding, i can see what gear i am in until I pull in the clutch. Which tells me the clutch sensor is good. so that cant be the reason the bike wont start in gear

The clutch sensor and the clutch safety switch are two different things...
