For the TC88 primary, and the Evo for that matter, the book says it'll take approximately 32 ounces of fluid. Has anyone else had to put up to about 40? I fill it while it sits on my bike jack, meaning level, just until it gets to the clutch spring. It was like that on my Evo also.
Maybe the bike is leaning forward a bit on the jack which would add a few ounces, but 8 extra seems too much.
My 2006 factory manual says 32 oz , so that's what I used.
Looks just like the picture in the service manual also at 32oz.
Looks like the bottom gear teeth on the clutch are just submerged.(on the jiffy stand)

With the bike level, you should be able to add another 6 oz. This is how you check the primary fluif level.
