Shovelhead split tank

Shovelhead split tank
Has anyone put a shovelhead split tank on a touring frame, such as a road King frame?... I am sure it would need some tab welded etc. which is not a problem... more curious on how it would look, any clearance issues, etc...

Have not, but the wishbone part of the frame on the new bikes is super wide compared to shovel era. Not sure it would look good. Plus those split tanks are smaller.
I mean. I wouldnt mind seein it. Anything is possible.
