But don't pretty much all of the seat manufacturers have a grace period for you to try and decide?

oh really?? I hadnt seen anything about the hammock seat having issues. I will have to do a search like you recommended. Definitely dont want to sink money into something that is going to come apart.

Of all the seats I've owned, the Hammock is the most comfortable, by far. Every time I let someone sit on it, the standard reply was: "Oh. My. God. This seat is amazing."

I also had a Mustang Wide Vintage Solo. That seat, by itself, made me sell my Dyna and move to a Touring model. After around 300 miles I'd be standing on the pegs. It was awful.

I need to look into a different seat or get some work done on it. wife and I just returned from Sturgis, about 3k miles total. wife said stock seat is great for her, I get some soreness after a bit of time. am thinking of having my stock one modified as there are so many different ones on the market.

Just got the mustang super touring deluxe. Leave on a 9 day road trip tomorrow. So I can talk about it soon!

Harley seats make me nervous. Have never found one that I love. Between 3 on the night train, 2 on the low rider, and 2 on an 06 street glide. Just never found a Harley seat that worked

If your goal is to move back, and lower, i'd suggest C & C Seats

I just bought one from them for my '15 and it moved me back and a little lower.
The stock seat I felt like I was sitting on top of the fuel tank, too far forward and too high

From the time I ordered my C & C seat, till it was sitting in my living room was 2 weeks.
I got the Sport Tour seat with gel.

I had the stock seat, which I hated, then went to a Saddleman Road Sofa, that was too hard for me,

I've had this C&C Sport Tour, a month, and love it.
PLus it was cheaper than the Road Sofa, and Mustang seats. total price shipped and everything was $685.
I was going to get a Super Tour Deluxe from Mustang, but their website says they're 8-12 weeks out, I didn't want to wait that long.

yeah i read somewhere that they quit making the non-heated version due to so many complaints about the web sling slipping in the seat, but I have seen a few places that actually still have them in stock. Did a search on youtube about found out that everyone that the only complaint everyone seemed to have was the slipping of the webbing, and then saw 2 or 3 videos where people showed a simple fix to prevent it happening and had no complaints after..

thats the way I feel on the stock Ultra seat. You would think that for 20+ thousand for a bike they would put a better seat on their bikes. This is the 5th harley I have owned and not a single one have I need able to keep the stock seat on .
