Default Axle covers?

On my 01 road king the axle on one side is bigger and round. Pic below

I dont think the single set screw type axle covers work on this. Are there companies that make them to fit this?

Thanks guys

I’d imagine any mfg would compensate for this HD design. Unless you hate Amazon, they’re there. JP Cycles has some for your year as well. Ive got OEM chrome nut covers on my ‘02 EG.

I have single set screw axle nut covers on my 01 Road King. Been on there a long time.

Alright, I'm just not sure how the set screw will hold onto anything on the axle nut I posted but I guess it can afterall. I'm looking for some spikes that will work.

Those spikes might look better on chrome or black legs. Haven't seen any plain aluminum. Can get them at a lot of places like Jeff Bezos, or here. Others are for '08 and up bikes.

Whatever ya use, make sure to anti-seize the set screws….your tire changing mechanic will thank you. Nothing like working on a bike and having to struggle with those damn frozen axle cover screws.
