Oil plug stuck.
Its a shame that harley riders are so high on themselves. My dad rides a Big bad road king and won't take my little 600 kawi for a ride because he says he would kill himself. Why? Because my little, low performance 600 CC jap bike makes MORE power than his big 1450 with aftermarket pipes, etc, on a bike weighing just 400 pounds. "rice bikes" which run on premium by the way, not rice, are actually harder to control. what kind of power does a stock 88CI Hardley make? I remember HArley riders bragging that their modded FLHs broke 100 HP... my stock 600 makes 110 at the crank, and is more reliable. I have no problem with HD guys, and love to ride with my dad, and I always waive to them, even though they ignore me at best, and get down right mean at worst. Would I rather sepnd 18-20 G on a HD with foreign parts and an american name, or 7 on a jap bike with foreign parts and a foreign name? I know the jap bike will last longer, perform better, cost less to maintain, and be more fun, so as long as I am content to ride, and not worry so much about my image, I will stay jap. And I'll keep waiving at the HD guys, cause one day one of em will waive back because he or she is a rider, not an HD advertisment.
Those who need to brag about all the "power" their bikes have are lacking in other "areas" So what is the point of your post?

So why are HD riders so Cocky? My dad can't explain it either, though he does have the pro-Harley Mentality. Its a real shame. Kawasaki Is also beating HD at is own game...take a look at the vulcan 2000. Its a beauty, and it the most powerful Vtwin bike out. Too bad Kawi had to stoop to big, heavy low performing lumps of steel. If they could have kept their own engine making style, and had made a 2000 CC motor, it would make closer to 300 HP. I didn't intend to come on here and just say "HEY, HD SUCKS!!" I was hoping you guys could explain the reasoning behind your anti-everyone else Mentality.
... Either way... I wave to ALL riders. Moped, Yamaha, Honda, HD, whatever. All riders are friends to me unless they prove otherwise. I wonder what your riding style is like that people don't wave? Do you ride like an idiot? Not trying to be mean, just asking. But to answer some of your questions, Harley like it or not, is one of the few things remaining in this messed up world that is unique and American. It may not be ALL American, but is still symbolic of this country and our freedom. It reminds people of better times (I think anyway) and gives people an escape from their bills, nagging girlfriends, whatever... I personally don't want to go fast on a bike. I want something that is comfortable, smooth riding, obnoxious (personal choice
), made of something other than plastic, and iconic. If you want something that goes super fast and is all about high performance, buy a crotch rocket. Most guys on here don't want that. Harley is like the Ferrari of bikes. It takes hard work to be able to afford one, and they still envoke a feeling that Honda, Yamaha, etc... can not match. I have owned Yamaha, and ridden several other brands. I can tell you that nothing is as satisfying as the clunk of putting a big old HOG into first gear and rolling on that throttle. Ok, I am off the soapbox. Don't be so disrespectful though. See if other's attitudes change. If I see you on the road, I will still wave!
you may not ride like a jackass...but you act like one....**** off little boy....you'll be banned soon and thanks for the entertainment....hopefully one day your hormones will allow you a better outlook and your pocketbook will allow you to afford a Harley like you so desparately want
