The best thing you can hope for is that when they come to pick up the bike and ride it back to the shop that the motor burns up and the guy riding it at the time is a Dealership employee. Other than that, get your wallet out. Johnny Cochran couldn't even get you out of this one.
absolute and total dumbass....your wife should be pissed....you will havta replace the pan...not a job for a novice either...get your wallet ready....tell us more of your genious fixer-man abilities there bud.....love a good laugh

I'm beginning to think the crack was already their. Why would it have been leaking already? I can't beleive I paid this much for a bike that had a broken case![:@] The bikes take more abuse just riding them and never brake. I change my oil every 5 thousand miles so that should not be a problem and warranty should cover this. If not, I'm going to speak to the manager and we'll have a sunday go to meeting talk! I'm a bit frustrated so sorry for posting, but I needed some assistance. Looks like a call to the lawyer may be in the future. The service guy hung the phone up on me so I'll speak to whoever comes and gets the bike about this.[:@]
What ever you decide to to, please do not quit your present job. We do not need the competition.
consider taking up another interesting hobby-- competitve neeolpoint.
dude...youre phucked....you caused the problem....any competent attorney wont take the case..the dealer's gonna stonewall you and laugh...AND youre ***** are gonna be blue'r for quite some time [sm=icon_rofl.gif]

I wish this was a joke 1fltri4me. I really think I did it this time. Me and Sonny got the screw out, but I think I cracked the bottom of my case. He was heating it with the torch and I was banging on it with my hammer and it came loose, but we both see a crack near the screw. All the oil is out. I wonder if warranty will cover this.
Put a new drain plug in, clean all the J.B. Weld off the threads, and tell the dealer "the oil pan leaks." Maybe they'll buy into the argument it is a faulty oil pan. If any J.B. Weld remains visible, the jig is up.
